We are San Francisco’s oldest vintage guitar shop. We opened in 1986 and have been in the same location since then. We only sell used and vintage gear.

Sure. Verbal appraisals are always free but we do charge for written appraisals. Please call to make an appointment for a written one. We need to have the instrument in hand to appraise it so we don’t do phone appraisals.

We pay top dollar for guitars, amps and accessories. We tend to avoid recent import stuff but we’ll look at anything. We consign certain guitars if we have room. We charge a 20% consignment fee. We always are up for trades as well. Trade-in value totally depends on what you’re trading for.

All used gear is sold as is with no warranty and no returns. If something goes south give us a call and we’ll do our best to help you out.

We can hold an instrument for 30 days with a non refundable deposit.

There is ample street parking in the neighborhood with plenty of public transportation nearby.

We accept cash, all major credit cards, Paypal, Beads and Wampum.

We no longer have any on site amp repair but contact us and we’ll give you our local recommendations.

We can ship any guitar to a USA Address. We don’t ship overseas and we don’t ship heavy amps. Call for a quote.
